I've been writing code since I was around 12. Hard not to when both your parents are software developers. My dad is the best engineer I know, and a lot of how I think through problems comes from him. The rest I picked up online and from my mom. I'm currently finishing a Computer Science degree at Simon Fraser University while attempting to freelance on the side.

Most of my projects have been personal builds or client work, which means I've owned everything: the design decisions, the backend, the deployment, and whatever breaks at 11pm. I like working that way. I care most about building something we're both proud of, so communication and actually hitting deadlines matter a lot to me.
